Description
This is the fourth annual regional workshop sponsored by the local chapter (Kentucky Lake Region) of the Association of Occupational Health Nurses. This workshop is targeted at Safety and Occupational Health Practitioners, Nurses, Human Resources Professionals, Management and anyone managing employee health and safety issues. Registration is 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The first speaker starts at 9:00 a.m. and the last speaker will end at 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Topics being considered are Tobacco Free Workplace, ADA, Updates on Cancer Screenings, Prescription Medication in the Workplace and Staying Calm during a Rough Economy.
Nurses: Credit pending review by the South Central KY AHEC
Certified Health Education Specialists: Credit pending review by the Western Kentucky University CHES CE Program
Location: The Medical Center Bowling Green (auditorium)
